FAWNSWORTH CAN BECOME ELiTE iF......
iTz DADDY YANKEE: 4--> BEAUTIFULxMESS: <333
*****{ see my video's below to see what a nasty simulated curve ball really looks like from a hitters perspective}
Yes Fawnsworth could be leet if..... somebody would work with him on developing another pitch or two? Maybee a curveballl maybee a slur or slider to go along with his change and sinker-curve combo pitch. The man throws over 100 on the radar at times just his pitches are too straight just like this Hawkins guy they just signed whom I and many others in blogospere think going to be a disaster!
Other than that I havent really written in this blog as much as I briefly looked on and commented on others , But I'm exited about this Alberjando guy we got for Tyler Clippard he throws in the high 90's. But there goes my trade philosphy that Mr.Yankee stole LOL as goes clippard , melky and cano for ...Santana other than that. I'd hold off defenitely agree wouldn't trade Hughes for him nor Kennedy?
You never know which one will emerge out of them young guns do you? And comradery is sarcred!
I'm Glad we didn't have to make a trade for Miggy Cabrera and D-Willis ...when it looked like Arod might not be back, I might have done this without Arod the Yankees are lacking in the righty power bat more than even at 3rd base!
Yes but I do think the bullpen is the biggest question? And with Joba as written so eloquently below-> moving to the rotation, and I agree we need him ultimately as a starter.
So what do we do about the bullpen situation? I dont think LaTroy Hawkins is the answer!
well....... Hopefully Oldendorph, J Brent Cox, Brett Smith and Edwar Ramirez , T.J. Beam and Dellin Belinces can emerge and or develope? Maybee Giradi will give them a chance the way Torre didn't! relying too much on old hands and "favorites"...........And Maybee Fawnsworth will be better under Giradi who seems to get the best out of his pitchers? And maybee he learns a second pitch a curveball or something? LOL WE shall see???
maybee "Fawnsworth will be better under Giradi?
and not just be a "thrower" become a "pitcher"
Learn the art of pitching ----->
The tv announcers really never talk of the art of pitching and defense during broadcasts usually opting to talk about there family bbq or some other nonsense
There really is an art to pitching!.....It isn't just throwing to a batters contact and hoping your infielders can catch it "crapshoot"
.
.
There is reason a batter grounds out or gets jammed and fly's out most of the time! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~>
and the best who ever did it! Mr. Nolan Ryan
THE "ROTATION" REVOLVES
http://riveraveblues.com/2007/12/08/off-season-pitching-battle-turns-to-bedard/
...ON...-> WHAT TO DO WITH THE SANTANA SITUATION , BEDARD AND THE BULLPEN WITH JOBA RETURNING TO THE ROTATION
I been saying all along that we should center our focus on Bedard?
We dont know out of the big “3″ who will really pan out , all we know is who has the most potential! All one would have to do is look at the 1988 Mets they had Dwight they had Darling and they had Cone, Whom had the best and longest career of the three? David Cone that’s who! The least heralded at that time.
It does pose the Question however? with A Bedard or Santana or perhaps even a Sabathia next years free agent class
How many starters can we have with Joba slated to return to the rotation?
I say plug in
Sabathia/Santana/Bedard
~than~
Pettitte
Hughes
Chamberlain
Keneddy
Than Move “Wang” to set up he is a ground ball pitcher with mid 90’s velocity and in tight situations where you need a double play he’s your man nd will be seen in limited basis, If he doesn’t work out than I guess exchange him with Joba, but Joba’s has to many pitches to many looks andstuff is too good tonot be a 7 or 8 innings pitcher
Offcourse nuturing guys like olendorf
and going out and getting a quility set-up man is high priority this year
But I say we can wait on Santana , Sabathia or even Beddard, although it would be nice one of them wouldn’t it?
