I'm sorry Mark Teixeira's 4 for 40 in 11 games is JUST NOT GOOD ENOUGH!



I mean these are pro ballpayers "professional hitters" and "Text" is supposed to be one of the best in league!'

It isn't like "the short series" "tournament style" baseball is new to these guys...

Growing up in little league you play maybee 15 games TOPS!

And if you're hitting 4 for 4o on the season...AINT NO SCOUT GOING TO LOOK AT YOU! ....

The Playoffs "ALSO" are a collection of a "5 game" and two "7 game series'es" ... and the "World BasebaLL Classic" doesn't exceed 12 games with EACH game after #1 loss usually an elimination game!






All I'm saying is IF YOU'RE "ELITE" even when you go into a slump you should at least hit .200 to .225 !!!! Everyone goes into slumps!!!!

But their is "NO EXCUSE" for going 4 for 40 !!!!! ....What if Text went 3 for 30 in playoff elimination series???

GET IT TOGETHER MAN!!!

P.S. = you're lucky the yanks won last year! because your sub .200 -1- HR over "15" gamesduring the playoffs would've had alot people looking at you "Mark" if your team didn't!

Arod who hasn't been HOT either been around .230 to .270 range!

...but look at the "run production" in "8" more hits in same amount of at bats
2 more runs, 2 more RBI in same time and those 2 runs, 2 RBI can be the difference between losing and winning a crucial game in a series!

Why drop Text to 5th...he's NOT a "Joe Mauer" or "Ichiro Suzuki " type "3" hitter! and personally I don't think he'll EVER HIT over .287 AGAIN!


Jeter on the other hand is a .310 hitter! as much as he puts ball on ground!

Gardner @ 2 spot can bunt and speed avoid DP when Jeter does put ball on ground!
